About Us

Thanks for visiting our web site. We are brothers, Tim and Tom Hulcoop and this is our company. Tom lives in and services the Parry Sound area and I ( Tim ) live near Huntsville and look after the Muskoka - Lake of Bays area. 1st Choice Kitchens came into being in July of 1983.

From day one, we based our detail oriented business on personal attention, quality, and a job well done. Over the years 1st Choice Kitchens has grown considerably but not that much in the way of size. We still work as a team, so you get the designing, costing, sourcing and installation all from the same person -- the owner. The growth we were talking about is in the area of expertise, experience and product knowledge - keeping abreast (at least for the most part) of a constantly changing industry and maintaining our sources of quality cabinetry from Acorn Kitchens and Luxorama. You can expect a lot from 1st Choice Kitchens, but there are some things we will "not" do;

1 We will not compromise our quality and service through pressure from our competition; every job receives attention to detail from design to installation.

2 We do not "sub" out our installations. We personally do it ourselves to ensure your dream kitchen or bath is expertly installed.

3 We have "no" hidden costs! What your contract states is what you pay, it's that simple and we believe that's how it should be.

4 We will not promise a delivery or a price we cannot honor. Honesty pays; an upset customer might not.

5 We do not give away colour T.V.s, trips or other gimmicks that really only cost you extra anyway.

Our promise to you "our customer" is to provide you exceptional value on our products and installation; to be on the job site "when we say we will", and do everything in our power to ensure your kitchen or bath is both a pleasure to see and use. With hundreds of satisfied customers, references are easily provided upon request.
